Not because it's a good photograph -- because I don't think it is; they couldn't create a simulacral Eiffel Tower for this shoot? -- but because I love Funny Face. Now that I'm older, I find a lot of fault in that film (like the age difference, how much of Hepburn's identity is defined by her fashion, etc.), but I will always love the scene in the Louvre where she has the red dress and shawl and Nike is at the back of the stairwell.
